Close encounters with spiders and scorpions

Did you know that a scorpion will glow if placed under UV light?

We are offering an exclusive event, ‘Close encounters with spiders and scorpions’, to families that join National Museums Liverpool’s membership scheme this autumn.

During this 40 minute session our expert Bug House demonstrators will examine the ecology, adaptations and lifestyles of scorpions, spiders and stick insects using video-microscope technology, real museum specimens and live animals!
