Good Education

In 1982 parents and activists took the extraordinary decision to occupy Croxteth Comprehensive School after plans were announced for its closure. The occupation ran for a full year and transformed the lives of many Croxteth residents and pupils. The play, Good Education, was developed from oral histories collected from the people who were involved in the struggle. The play will be followed by a Q&A with some of the activists involved in the struggle.

Spring Heeled Jack storytelling

This distinctive character has a dark tale to tell – for they were witness to the last sighting of notorious Victorian bogeyman, Spring Heeled Jack, as he disappeared over the rooftops of Everton town in 1904.
