Arts Council Collections in partnership

The Arts Council is collaborating with Leeds Art Gallery|, Manchester Art Galleries|, Birmingham art galleries and The Walker Art Gallery to bring its loan collection to regional museums in England.

This is a four year partnership, from 2011-2014, to bring its loan collection of modern and contemporary British art to regional museums in England. The scheme is sponsored by Christie’s auction house for its first two years.

During the 2012 Liverpool Biennial, The Arts Council Collection will be presenting Enrico David’s major installation Madreperlage (2003) and more recent works on paper at the Walker Art Gallery.
