Federation of International Human Rights Museum (FIHRM)

The Federation of International Human Rights Museums (FIHRM) held its inaugural conference at the International Slavery Museum in September 2010. FIHRM aims to help museums dealing with sensitive and controversial subjects, such as transatlantic slavery, the Holocaust and human rights, to work together and share new thinking and initiatives in a supportive environment.

European Museum Forum

This year National Museums Liverpool became the registered office for the European Museum Forum (EMF), a group which works to raise the standard of European museums and manages the European Museum of the Year Award.
