This is a partnership between the University of Liverpool and the National Museums Liverpool. The aim of the Centre is to contribute to greater understanding and informed debate about the transatlantic slave trade and its many legacies in an interdisciplinary way. The Centre develops research initiatives as well as learning events and outreach programmes with communities, schools, volunteers, life long learner and the general public. The Hittite and Aegean Gallery at Liverpool Museum (as was) before the Blitz bombing.

This is a partnership between the Antiquities Department at World Museum and the School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology (SACE) at the University of Liverpool. A PhD student funded by AHRC (2007-10 ) is researching The Lost Hittite Gallery: John Garstang and Turkey.
