Museum Partnerships
National Museums Liverpool and Hope University have joined forces to share expertise and develop links.
Museum curators and staff will work with lecturers at Hope to contribute and shape two postgraduate courses directly linked to the cultural sector: Art History & Curating and Museum & Heritage Studies for 2011-2012.
The partnership will also deliver high profile lectures for museum audiences and students, support the next Federation of International Human Rights Museums (FIHRM) conference in 2012 and explore exhibition collaborations between the organisations.
Along with Renaissance North West we are supporting the North West Federation (NWFED)- an organisation which represents and champions museums and galleries in the North West.
We are hosting the NWFED's office in World Museum, and our Organisation and Development Manager sits on the NWFED's Board of Directors.
We are working with NWFED, Renaissance North West and the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council to develop a visioning document for North West museums.
