Senior management team
James is responsible for fundraising from Trusts, Foundations and Public Sector agencies. He develops and co-ordinates National Museums Liverpool fundraising strategic policies, procedures and programmes.
James has joint responsibility for leading the development team in the preparation and management of the annual giving and capital fundraising programme, including major gifts, trusts and foundations.
James joined National Museums Liverpool in November 2006. He has over seventeen years experience in the arts and cultural sector in Liverpool. James has worked primarily as a fundraiser and arts manager across a range of organisations and areas including heritage, arts, education, culture, regeneration and community capacity building. He is a member of the Institute of Fundraising.
James has served as a board member with numerous community, arts, creative, cultural and faith organisations and he is currently chair of Brouhaha International.
