Director, Human Resources
Maxine Carden began working at National Museums Liverpool in 1985 in a junior administrative role. She has had fantastic development opportunities during her time with National Museums Liverpool, facilitating and supporting many organisational change programmes and has been promoted on several occasions to a number of different Human Resources (HR) roles. She was promoted to Director of Human Resources in July 2008.
Maxine is responsible for developing and delivering HR strategies ensuring that they are fully aligned with National Museums Liverpool's business requirements and are flexible to take account of the changing needs of the organisation in the future. She is a member of our Executive Management Team and contributes to overall management, policy formulation and business planning.
Maxine has a Masters Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and has extensive HR experience.
