Requesting images for commercial use

How to request an image

Step 1. Please complete these forms

1. an order form for digital images. Choose from a word document or a downloadable pdf. Please enter as much detail as you can.
2. section B of the declaration form (pdf))

Step 2. Return forms and payment details

Return both forms to us by email or post with payment/invoice details. You must return both forms before your order can be processed.

We will then provide you with confirmation and an enquiry reference number. Please use this number if you contact us about your order.

Digital images, at 300dpi will be supplied to you by email.

Payment options

• By cheque - pay in advance in British Pounds Sterling (£), making cheques payable to 'National Museums Liverpool'
• By card - by email or phone (we just need your card details)
• By invoice - invoices are only provided on request

If you are exempt from UK tax on goods please provide confirmation or EU tax code.

Fees

• Existing digital image: £30.00 + VAT
• New photography: £75.00 + VAT
• Reproduction fees - please contact us with details of your reproduction and image use, including
  • print run
  • world/one country use
  • one/more languages
  • colour/black and white
  • cover/inside page.
  All reproduction prices are open to negotiation when full information about the project is given.

Prices include UK tax and post & packing (UK first class or AIR Mail).

• UK customers will be charged standard VAT.
• EU customers outside the UK will be charged VAT unless you supply a valid VAT registration number.
• Non-EU customers will not be charged VAT.
  

Copyright and images

As parts of our collections are still covered by UK copyright law, you may be requested to gain written permission from a copyright holder in advance. It may not be possible for us to supply certain images (where the copyright is not owned by National Museums Liverpool) but we will inform you of this on receipt of your order.
