About this object

This flyer advertises St. Bride’s Church, Catharine Street and their monthly ‘Open Table’ services for LGBT people and their families and friends. St Bride’s opened in 1829 but by 2006 the congregation had dwindled to just four worshippers and the decision was taken to re-launch St Bride’s to create a place of worship for the city which was “creative, progressive and inclusive”.

Alongside their regular retreats and monthly services for LGBT people and their families and friends, St. Bride’s emphasises LGBT equality as one of the strongest factors in creating an active community alongside peace work and a respect for all faiths and beliefs.
