About the collections management division

An Egyptian mummy

The National Conservation Centre closed to visitors on Friday 17 December 2010 following government cuts.

However our conservators are continuing their vital work to conserve our objects, as an important part of National Museums Liverpool's collections management division. Find out more about our conservation departments on this website.

If you have any questions about how to care for your own objects you can still contact us using the opinion service. You might also find these frequently asked questions to conservators useful.

There will be opportunities to take part in free conservation-themed events and activities at National Museums Liverpool's other venues, please see our Events and activities listings for further details.

You can also read about the work of our conservators on the blog.
