The heady days of Everton football club during the 1980s were featured this exhibition, which marked the 20th anniversary of the start of Everton Football Club's most successful spell in their long and distinguished history.
Although Everton had previously won seven titles and three FA Cups, the period 1984 to 1987 was the club's greatest era. In the space of these four seasons the FA Cup, two League Championships and the European Cup Winners Cup all resided in the trophy room as Howard Kendall's heroes magnificently redressed the balance of power on Merseyside.
This was a team packed full of skill, power, vision and togetherness, a side that fulfilled the club's famous 'Nil Satis Nisi Optimum' motto - Only The Best Is Good Enough.
The exhibition included the legendary players, the influential goals, the loyal fans and the inspirational manager who all helped to make it happen. It was based on Everton's Z Stars by Ken Rogers, Executive Editor, Trinity Mirror Sport Media (available from Trinity Mirror Sport Media, £17.50).
