Many students of conservation undertake internships at the Conservation Centre, National Museums Liverpool in the conservation departments relevant to their specialism. Internships form part of many conservation course programmes, and can last up to six months.
Unfortunately we are currently not able to take on any new interns at present. National Museums Liverpool is currently undergoing a restructure and is unable to commit to new interns for the time being.

We host site visits, studio tours and demonstrations for interested groups of all ages. Conservators also give lectures and demonstrations at a wide range of public events including science festivals, conferences and activity sessions at other National Museums Liverpool venues.
