An official letter recording 2nd Lieutenant Richard Owen Jenkin's burial place at Nine Elms Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium. 2nd Lieutenant Jenkins, 1st/5th Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment, was awarded the Military Cross for his actions on 20 September 1917. He died the next day from wounds received in those actions. He was 25.
