The Sefton Park Eros Fountain is a twin of the world famous Eros Fountain in Piccadilly Circus, London. The fountain is an aluminium figure of Eros standing on a bronze base. This is one of the first public sculptures cast in aluminium. The sculpture was removed from Sefton Park in 1991 for conservation treatment.
