Teddy bear
Child’s teddy bear from 1900-1915 or possibly later, made by Steiff of Germany. The teddy is made of Mohair pile fur. He had been repaired before he came to National Conservation Centre - the eyes have been replaced and the nose has been re-embroidered. The paw pads have been covered with net for this display to protect them. The general abrasion damage is the result of normal wear and tear.
