Wartime Christmas card

Inside the Christmas card, featuring the signature and a colour image of a soldier

A Christmas card sent by Corporal Alfred Gallagher during the First World War. The card has a colour illustration of a soldier inside and is signed 'Alf to Mother'. Corporal Gallagher, 029698, 19th and 1st Battalions the King’s Liverpool Regiment, survived the war and remained in the army reserves until 1928.
