Reveal

An object doesn't have to be a priceless work of art in a museum to have an interesting story behind it.
We would like you to tell us about your memories connected to your own memorabilia. Do you know something we don't? Is there something in the Reveal exhibition that brings back memories for you? Let us know what they are and we'll feature some of the most interesting and unusual stories on this website.
Mr R Cooper has shared this memory about the model racing car number 3:
"I used to have one of these about 1938.
When they removed the railings from the garden walls, they cemented the holes which were left. Soon afterwards I ran over the cement with my model of the racing car with its knobbly tyres.
I went back to Birkenhead in 1983 when my father died. The tracks were still there embedded in the cement. A poignant memory for me..."
