Conservators often use cutting edge technology to investigate delicate ancient objects without damaging them. One of the newest techniques is CT (Computerised Tomography) scanning. Pedeamun himself is on display in Reveal at the National Conservation Centre, with a special interactive that allows visitors to thoroughly investigate what lies under his bandages - without removing a single one.
