Collections responsible for

Conservation of organic materials (including textiles, organics, furniture, ship and historic models and taxidermy), metals and ceramics within National Museums Liverpool's colections.

Specialist interests

Vivien Chapman trained as a textile conservator and now manages the objects conservation section at National Museums Liverpool, which consists of the textiles, organics, furniture, ship and historic models conservation and taxidermy departments.

She is a Fellow of IIC and an Accredited Conservator-Restorer (ICON). Her special interests are textiles and organics technology, design and conservation, storage and the management of conservation resources.
