Conservation Technologies was commissioned to laser scan an ancient Saxon cross in the cemetery of St Peter’s Church at Prestbury in Cheshire|. The surface of the sandstone cross is badly weathered, so a highly accurate 3D record| was required before any intervention was made. A weathered carved doorway to a Norman chapel on the same site was also laser scanned.
