Conservation Technologies reconstructed missing elements from a 14th century bronze figure of the Bodhisattva of Compassion using highly accurate laser scanning and rapid manufacturing techniques. A number of small elements and their mirror images were produced in a hard nylon material and patinated to look like bronze. Conservators attached the new pieces to the statue, which is now displayed in the Asia section of the World Cultures Gallery at World Museum Liverpool.
