Conservation Technologies was commissioned to laser scan an ancient Saxon cross in the cemetery of St Peter’s Church at Prestbury in Cheshire. The surface of the sandstone cross is badly weathered, so a highly accurate 3D record was required before any intervention was made. A weathered carved doorway to a Norman chapel on the same site was also laser scanned.
