Display mounts for the Cardiff Story Museum

We were commissioned by Cardiff City Council to produce over 200 mounts for the Cardiff Story Museum|, housed in the old library building in the centre of Cardiff. The displays are split over two floors with the ground floor housing cases covering the history of Cardiff and the lower ground floor housing the City Lab, which provides an interactive experience for young and old alike.

Bespoke mounts were produced for a wide range of object types, including: flint arrow heads, axe heads, medieval tiles, muskets, badges, church signs, rug mats and a bicycle.

The objects were measured and photographed initially, allowing the mounts to be produced in our studio in Liverpool. The mounts were then installed on-site and any fine adjustments made, if required.
