Supporting and raising awareness of world class museums with strong American links 

American Friends of National Museums Liverpool, Inc (AFNML) is a non-profit organisation aiming to raise awareness and key funds towards the development of two significant museums in Liverpool - the International Slavery Museum and the new Museum of Liverpool.

Your donation could enhance America's enduring relationship with Liverpool and help bring US history to life in these museums.

How to give

There are a number of ways to give:

  • Check - Please make checks payable to the American Friends of National Museums Liverpool, Inc. and post to the address at the bottom of this page. 
  • Become a patron - Individual donors making contributions over $2,000 become Patrons of the American Friends and receive the following benefits: 

    • Acknowledgment in the National Museums Liverpool Annual Review
    • An exhibition catalogue of your choice
    • Invitations to special events both in the US and Liverpool
    For donations over $10,000, Patrons receive all the benefits above, as well as a curator-led tour and complimentary meal for six people at the award winning Maritime Dining Room in Liverpool.
