Liverpool Doors
24 February 2012 - end date to be confirmed
Museum of Liverpool
Roger McGough has worked with art students from Liverpool John Moores University to turn doors donated by the public into an unusual artwork.
The doors are being decorated with selected verses from the Liverpool Saga, which inspired hundreds of local people to turn their minds to poetry to celebrate Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture in 2008.
Each door is symbolic of a personal memory of the city. The artwork will include a door from the Everyman Theatre chosen by Roger himself, as his own celebration of a place close to his heart.

Titanic and Liverpool: the untold story
30 March 2012 - end date to be confirmed
Merseyside Maritime Museum
To mark the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic, this compelling new exhibition will explore Liverpool's central role in the Titanic story. The exhibition will feature previously unseen collections of international significance including material from Merseyside Maritime Museum's extensive archives. It will complement the museum's existing permanent gallery, the hugely popular Titanic, Lusitania and the Forgotten Empress.
Do you have a Titanic tale to tell? We'd love to hear from anyone who knows about Liverpool connections to the tragic ship. Find out more on the blog.
The end date of this exhibition is not yet confirmed but it will open on 30 March 2012 and run for at least a year.
