October is Black History Month. This national celebration aims to promote and celebrate Black contributions to British society, and to foster an understanding of Black history in general.
We have lots going on, with free events at both the International Slavery Museum and the Museum of Liverpool throughout October.
You may also be interested in talks by the Centre for the Study of International Slavery, which take place at the University and Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre. The full talks programme is on the CSIS page.
