Come along to our 'Fashion fix' week of events at the Walker Art Gallery. Join in with fashion workshops, dress up and have a family picture taken in our 1970s photo booth. 

You can also look around our fantastic exhibition of 1970s fashion, 'Feathercuts and flares' on the ground floor of the gallery.

 

Please note: the photo booth is only available on the 15, 16, 17 February 2012.

This display in the Craft and Design Gallery highlights the original fashions of the 1970s, currently enjoying a revival on the high street.

Discover some of the most influential 'looks' of that decade, from the simple country styles of Laura Ashley, through the sophisticated evening wear of John Bates, to the glamour of disco.
