Broadgreen High School visit Sudley House
Introduction
During
the summer of 2002, students from Broadgreen High School worked with the
Walker's education team to enhance their understanding of art. The project
consisted of a series of visits to Sudley House and a special trip to the
National Gallery, London.
A number of paintings from the collection at Sudley House were discussed and analysed. As a follow up to the visits, the students recorded their responses to specific paintings and used them as inspiration for their own artwork. Gathered together on this website, the results of the project show an imaginative and personal approach to art.
