Football Friday
Football fans from local Sefton primary schools recently visited the Museum
of Liverpool Life.
The groups of young people and adults took part in Football Friday, a day of special activities and workshops.The day began with a tour of football displays at the museum followed by a chance to handle objects in the collection.
The groups then designed football kits, made their own footballers and wrote match reports. Adults remembered favourite football moments and recorded their match day memories.
The BBC Learning Centre provided the venue for web workshops. Adults and young people worked together to create web pages which display their football designs, thoughts and memories.
