The Greenhouse

Established in November 1997 and based in Liverpool 8, The Greenhouse Multi-Cultural Play & Arts Project is a voluntary organisation which aims to provide play and arts opportunities for children, young people and families of all abilities.

The Greenhouse is currently working to deliver a programme of arts based activities, workshops and events that will enable young people across Liverpool to explore relevant and meaningful issues.

The Greenhouse aims to:

provide educational drama, music and visual arts events
develop participation in arts activity
encourage mutual respect, understanding and celebration of cultural diversity
develop new projects and audiences which inspire positive learning experiences for both young and old
boost children's and young people's confidence, raising their aspirations and levels of achievement
help create a healthier region by improving children's and young people's physical and mental well-being through health and self awareness
support regeneration and community capacity building
