'These photographs were taken on 31 July 1954. The occasion was my birthday and I was using my new camera for the first time. The first photograph shows George McCulloch of Webster Road Liverpool 7. The second two of my sisters Joan and Barbara, Joan now lives in Australia.

We also visited that day, Old Nicks Cave, the café and the aviary.'
