'My photograph was taken about forty six years ago. One boy is my Brother who will be fifty in December (2001) the other boy is my son who will be forty seven in January 2002.

We had good times in Sefton Park in those days it was a good family day out. With the café and aviary, Palm House, and boating lake also the caves to keep children occupied. Many families took children out on a Sunday to the Park.'
