Mr Bruce Sloan 'This photo was taken in the summer of 1952. I am on the left of the picture, aged 5 years, on the right is my older brother Roger, aged 7 years. We were regular visitors to Sefton Park having lived nearby in Leonora Street, off Park Road, Dingle. These houses had no gardens and the Park provided a wonderful escape from the 'back to back' terraces of the time.'
