The International Slavery Museum is marking its 10th anniversary this year, after first opening its doors on 23 August  2007 – the bicentenary of the abolition of the British slave trade, and the annual date of Slavery Remembrance Day.

Celebrate the last 10 years with us. The anniversary launch week is full of inspirational activities for all ages, including a new exhibition, a carnival and commemorative events for this year's Slavery Remembrance Day.

See the event listings below for details - more events will be announced soon.
