The International Slavery Museum's Capoeira Club is held every Saturday afternoon, 2-4pm.
*Please note that we are having a Christmas break so there is no club on 21 or 28 December, then it returns in January.*
If you have an interest in martial arts, dance or acrobatics or just want to try something new, come along to one of the friendly classes, led by Daniel Baird. All ages, levels of fitness and abilities welcome!
Capoeria is a Brazilian martial art that was developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil. It is a unique martial art that incorporates musicality, acrobatics and dance.
Training Capoiera improves fitness, flexibility, strength and self defence.
