Join us to remember ancestors of African and Caribbean heritage, at the libation ceremony to mark Slavery Remembrance Day.

A libation is an ancient spiritual ceremony, which involves an offering to honour our African ancesters.

The libation will be followed by an afternoon of activities at the International Slavery Museum, including talks, object handling, performances, badge making and much more. See the Slavery Remembrance Day page for full details.

This event is part of our Slavery Remembrance Day 2017 event series.
