To mark Slavery Remembrance Day, we are delighted to host an on gallery performance by the inspirational Migrant Artists Mutual Aid (MaMa) choir.

MaMa is a cross national network of women, mothers, migrants, artists, academics and activists who work together to campaign for justice in the migration system.

To mark Slavery Remembrance Day, MaMa Choir will be showcasing new songs inspired by their research with International Slavery Museum, as part of a wider project to highlight the experiences of historic and contemporary migrant communities in Liverpool.

This event is part of our Slavery Remembrance Day 2018 and Summer event series.
