Join us to get hands on with objects from our museum collections and discover more about how plants and things made from them can tell us different stories about enslaved people, their lives and the ways that they resisted enslavement.

There will also be chance to find out more about symbolic planting in Granby and at International Slavery Museum and meet our partners at Granby Land Development Trust to discover more about their research with Professor Geri Augusto from Brown University and The Centre for the Study of Slavery and Justice as part of her recent residency with International Slavery Museum.

This event is part of our Slavery Remembrance Day 2018 event series.
