Join us to remember ancestors of African and Caribbean heritage, at the libation ceremony to mark Slavery Remembrance Day.

A libation is an ancient spiritual ceremony, which involves an offering to honour our African ancesters.

The libation will have British Sign Language interpretaion.

After the libation there is an afternoon of activities at the International Slavery Museum and Museum of Liverpool, including talks, object handling, craft, performances and much more. See the Slavery Remembrance Day page for full details.

This event is part of our Slavery Remembrance Day 2019 event series.
