The International Slavery Museum's Capoeira Club is held on most Sunday afternoons, 2-4pm.
Please note that there is no Capoeira Club on 13, 20 July, 10, 31 August or 7 September due to summer holidays.
If you have an interest in martial arts, dance or acrobatics or just want to try something new, come along to one of the friendly classes, led by Daniel Baird. All ages, levels of fitness and abilities welcome!
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that was developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil. It is a unique martial art that incorporates musicality, acrobatics and dance.
Training Capoeira improves fitness, flexibility, strength and self defence.
