We're celebrating local Black History in this creative workshop for all the family. Inspired by the work of artist Sandi Hughes, we invite you to use a range of materials to create a collage celebrating Liverpool's vibrant Black communities of the past and the present day.

Bring along your own family photographs to share with us and use in your collage along with some from our collection. We'll have a scanner and printer ready so you can make copies of and digitise your photographs. Our Sankofa team will also be on hand to give advice about looking after your own collections.

Don't worry if you don't have family photographs to share. Everyone is welcome and we have plenty of materials to go around!

This event is part of our Black History Month event series.
