'My life, my words' was a small display of videos and images exploring the lives and experiences of three individuals from the Black communities within Liverpool and their relationships with an ever changing city.
The three people featured were:

Hulbert Priddie, born in 1930, who came to Liverpool in 1955 from Trinidad and Tobago.

Stella Wilke, born in 1942 in Guyana. Mrs Wilke moved to Liverpool with her two eldest children in 1962 to join her husband, who had come the previous year.

Rudolf Murray, born in 1933, who sailed from Barbados to Liverpool as a merchant seaman in 1952.
