Each year Liverpool commemorates Slavery Remembrance Day with a series of events. The day commemorates the many lives lost as a result of the transatlantic slave trade, remembers Liverpool's role as the main British slaving port, and also celebrates the survival and development of African and Caribbean cultures.

For the event Monday 23 August 2010 we are looking for:

  • Cultural craft makers to sell traditional African and Caribbean hand made crafts and related items.
  • Cultural caterers/traders to sell traditional African and Caribbean food (including vegetarian option) and drinks (non alcoholic) at the event as part of a market place of food provision.

If you are interested in submitting a tender please download a form below for details.

The deadline for tenders for catering and craft stalls is Friday 28 May 2010.
