Liverpool Blitz: 10am
Thousands of workers and troops from outside the area arrive in the Liverpool to help the weary population repair the city.
Some buildings are still on fire, transport routes are damaged and unexploded bombs still litter the rubble. The going is slow,
and broken water and gas mains make it even more difficult and dangerous.
