Three portraits come to life to tell you about crime and punishment, politics and quality of life across the 13th to the 16th century. One is a lord, one is a wealthy businessman and one is a peasant.
Can you guess who has been selling beer without permission?
When we filmed this with actors, the man playing the peasant was the tallest of the 3 actors so they had to stand the others on boxes so that they could look down on him!
You can see an amazing range of portrait paintings at the Walker Art Gallery.
