Description: Vase with graceful ovoid body, slightly spreading base, short straight neck, and dome-shaped cover with pointed knob. Painted in blue of good quality with four upright panels with rockery, flowering plants (peony and plum), birds and insects, between upright bands of cash pattern white on blue. Above and below are ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') shaped lappets with chrysanthemum scrolls in white on blue and ju-i heads between. A band of ju-i pattern on the neck. Borders of hatched vandyke pattern. Cover to match.
