Description: Vase with ovoid body, short neck, and dome-shaped cover. Painted in underglaze blue and enamel colours, chiefly red and gilding, in Japanese (Imari) style. On the sides are flowering trees and phoenixes and formal chrysanthemum rosettes. On the shoulder is a border of ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') pattern with flowers in a netted red ground. A band of false gadroons above the base. Floral sprays on the neck. Cover to match.
