Description: Saucer dish, one of a pair (to LL 6415), painted in purplish blue. In the centre, a dragon emerging from waves and another in clouds above. Border of plum blossom and wave pattern. On the reverse, a band of waves and dragons.
Mark of the Chenghua period (1465-1487 AD) in six characters in a double ring, but the dish is of Kangxi date.
