Description: Hexagonal vase, of slender beaker shape with rounded bulb on stem, spreading mouth and foot. Painted in heavy blue. On the bulb, six panels with figures of sages and attendants in landscape setting. On the stem, growing flowers and fruit in pots. On the neck, flowers and fruit and birds. Base unglazed. Under the lip, a cartouche with the mark of the Wan Li period (1573-1620 AD) in six characters.
